The update brings  navigation icons for recent apps  and a  shortcut to access quick search in the app drawer . With this change, the app's icon has been shifted to the bottom. The  app icon now acts as a slider  that you can use to navigate through your list of recent apps. You also get a cleaner 'Close Apps' button with text on it instead of the huge 'X' icon that was present before. Also, you must have noticed the absence of the overflow menu (vertical three-dots) at the top right corner that provides access to menu options. Now, however, the company says that it is altering its sales plan because of unforeseen production issues. In an official forum post on Wednesday, OnePlus said that it is being forced to alter its plans after the production of the OnePlus 8-series was 'temporarily halted' last week. The company, however, claims that production is already back up and running, so one would hope that things would get back to normal sooner rather than later. In a post on Chinese micro-blogging site, Weibo, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau said that the company will offer a mid-range handset this year to reach a wider consumer base. With this announcement,  OnePlus becomes the first brand whose smartphones can run Fortnite at 90 frames per second on Android . The development comes about a month after the first Open Beta was released in April and exactly a week after the third and final Open Beta started rolling out on May 19th. According to screenshots shared by at least one user on the official OnePlus Forum, the incoming update weighs in at 1.8GB for the OnePlus 5T. According to tech journalist and serial tipster, Max J,  the company is planning to unveil the TWS earbuds in July , i.e in a couple of months. It will be interesting to see if it will be announced alongside  OnePlus Z  that's also rumored to take place in the same month. The earbuds depicted in Max's tweet look fairly similar to the Apple AirPods, although, it isn't immediately clear as to whether they are representative renders or just meant for illustrative purposes.
